Personally, I think the show is kinda stupid. The idea is good though, they just cant express it well.

Maybe I should've said retarded instead. It started out ok I guess but is retarded now. Here's what almost every episode is about now...

Ash and his friends are traveling. They meet some people who have a problem so they want to help. Team Rocket comes and tries to mess things up. Ash and co beat them. They solve the problem. Everyone's happy. The End.

Unless they changed some things since 2003, I doubt the anime has changed.
