To stay on topic, I just beat Xaldin on proud mode on my first try.
I don't know why people say he's hard. He's so easy. Guard, Aerial Dodge, Reflect, and Thunder owns him.

Had Sora equipped with 5 Hi-Potions but only used 1 and that was when Xaldin becomes all green and starts comboing you. Once More is very useful. Lets you survive with 1 HP if you get hit by a combo that would kill you. Donald and Goofy were loaded with Potions and set to "last hope". They healed me the whole time.

As for the "crapload of other stuff"...

Abilities-
Guard(Blocked his thrust attacks and let me get 3 jumps each time)
Slapshot(Helped when comboing him)
Dodge Slash(Helped when comboing him)
Slide Dash
Guard Break(Helped when comboing him)
Explosion
Aerial Sweep(Helped when comboing him)
Aerial Spiral(Helped when comboing him)
Aerial Finish(Helped when comboing him)
Quick Run Lvl 1(I forgot I had it on. Could've dodged some of his attacks if I remembered)
Aerial Dodge Lvl 2(Let's me jump over his shockwaves and helps when trying to dodge his combo attack)
Scan(Let me see how much HP he had left)
Aerial Recovery(This is always useful)
Combo Boost(Helped when comboing him)
Air Combo Boost(Helped when comboing him)
Reaction Boost
Drive Boost
Leaf Bracer
Magic Lock On
Jackpot
Item Boost(Increases HP healed by Hi-Potion I guess)
Once More(Like I said above, let me survive Xaldin's gay combo)

All the abilities I didn't comment on were useless in the battle.

Shortcut Menu-
X=Cura
O=Hi Potion
^=Thunder
Sq=Reflect

Used Reflect to block his Winds of Despair and Thunder helped me kill him when he was a 1 hp.

Master:Oathkeeper Keyblade(Didn't use Master Form)
Soldier Earring(+4 AP)

Those are my "crapload of stuff" I had. And if you're wondering, I didn't use Wisdom form either. Oogie Boogie was harder. The only boss besides Sephiroth I actually died to so far.

You lost to oogie boogie? I mean, he just throws stuff at you cmon.

He cheats. He sends out gay Emerald Blues heartless at you making me try to avoid them and the giant punching fist that takes out 1/3 of my hp at the same time. And if I tried to kill the Emerald Blueses, I usually get hit by the giant fist or the conveyer belt sends me into the spikes. If I try to avoid them, I usually end up getting hit by their gay spinning air around themselves attack because Donald and Jack are too slow to kill them. It juggles me and always seems to send me right into where the giant fist is going to land. He's the gayest boss ever or so far for me. At least Sephiroth fights fair.

I can say to same to people about Xaldin. How can you people lose to Xaldin? All of his attacks can be easily blocked/dodged with Guard, Reflect, and Aerial Dodge. Well except for when he goes berserk or starts teleporting around but I always kill him before he does.

Well, it all depends on your style of fighting I guess...

my style of fighting is fight, pause and eat popcorn and take sip off drink then resumes and keep that whole circle going againg. Nobody cant resist the popcorn while watching t.v or playing vide games. And i'm ok fighter, nothing special.

that also includes abi. she's not really into shopping for clothes but she doesn't mind it. and i like shopping for books, you do too! i find shopping for chothes boring although it's nesscery (however u spell that). makeup, uh, i don't own any. and abi has make-up b/c her mom buys if for her. and for boys, you once had a crush on a boy too.
