KH1 or KH2? Which one you like better?

I choose KH2 because it's easier(Is it me or do you take more damage? One hit from a Shadow took out around 2/5 of my HP. Wth?!) and you don't have to go into first person view to move the camera.

I chose KH2 because it has a very complex storyline that includes nothingness and really gets you to think unlike the first game which was just light and darkness. Chain of Memories was on a Nintendo Console therefore it is bad. Great cut scenes for a GBA game though...

Sure...except that KH2's storyline isn't that great once you realize the nobodies, which are suppose to be the main bad guys of the game, had almost no part in the game except for the beginning, around the middle, and the end.

Xigbar did nothing. He said like three lines in The Land of the Dragons and left. Nomura could've at least made Xigbar cause more damage in The Land of the Dragons so Sora actually had a reason to kill Xigbar besides the fact that he's in OXIII. Also, Sora didn't even know his name.

Luxord did almost nothing. Besides the medallion scenario, Luxord didn't do anything. He said like one line in TWTNW and then got killed. Like Xigbar, he could've gotten more screen time. Sora didn't even know his name.

Demyx also had like no part in the storyline. Both of the times when he showed up, there wasn't any point. All Demyx did was show up in random times of the game and fight you. Sora didn't even know his name.

Xaldin was ok I guess but he could've done more. Sora knew his name at least.

Saix was awsome in the beginning and around the middle. But in the end, he said a few lines and then died. Too short of an ending for such an awsome character. Sora knew his name because Axel told him but I think he forgot since Sora never called Saix by his name. So he basically didn't know his name at all.

Axel off course was awsome in the beginning and around the middle but like Saix, he died too easily in the end.

Xemnas did nothing until the end but he was awsome. Mainly because he didn't die so easily.

Nomura had the chance of showing more of the OXIII's characters with Halloween Town, The Pride Lands, and Agrabah but instead decided to make those worlds pointless to the storyline. KH1 had a more solid storyline. At least the main bad guys showed more character. Yes, I know the main bad guys in KH1 were disney characters which was exactly why they showed more character. I guess it's just too hard mixing the OXIII with Disney without messing up the Disney worlds' storylines.


But I still like KH2 better because it's easier to move the camera!

Ant the graphics are better because it's newer... And it has a character that is way cooler than Sora in it (Roxas). And Sora's too damn happy, Roxas was like his angst-bucket side.

O and don't forget the ability to skip cutscenes! God, I hate having to watch the same cutscene again and again when I want to refight a boss. Also the areas are smaller so there's a smaller chance of missing items. And don't forget reaction commands...

I miss the large maps...

What large maps?

Like in Traverse town, pieces of the map are a lot bigger than in twilight town.

Wait, there are maps of the areas? Where? And Traverse Town's large size annoyed me. I like it when the areas are small and straight forward with no hidden items and having the game telling you where to go. I spent like one hour running around Traverse Town until I opened up a walkthrough on Gamefaqs and found out I had to return to Cid's shop...

I mean the map as in the area you're in. And how did you not know you go back to the shop... Do you have no common sense?

Well I thought it would be like KH2 and you would just keep going to a new area until you reach a cutscene unless told otherwise. I wasn't told by anyone to go back to the shop so I didn't know. I wasn't planning on using the save point because there wasn't any reason to save.

Yea, but i some ways kh has better stuff cause u cant do sonic blade, fight ice, and rock titan. they are always fun to fight, and there is super glide, plus their is never, and their is the secret bosees, and it show sora opening the doors he goes in, plus there are the torneys in olympus coliiseum, and they are always fun to do. plus, he can swim in that game even thought there are tourneys in kh2, but the tournys in the first game are better. and you can fight leon, cloud, yuffie.

In KH2, you can also fight Leon, Cloud, and Yuffie in the tournaments as well as Tifa. Anyone remember round 49 of the Hades cup in KH2 where you fight Leon, Cloud, Yuffie, and Tifa at the same time with no drives and no friends?

Reaction commands and limits more then make up for no Sonic Blade, Ragnarok, and all those skills. Reaction commands make the battles so much more easier and limits are technically the same things as those skills from KH1 only you become invincible while using them but you lose all of your MP.

I still hate KH1's big areas and hidden items. Takes me like 2 hours to complete one world.

Kingdom Hearts 2 is just better overall. It is the sequel and Square Enix worked out some kinks. The fact that more modern technology let them create a game with better graphics and more interactivity helps too.

KH1 still has the better storyline, comical relief, and abilities.

I already told why I think the storyline is better.

Comical Relief includes things like when Peter Pan does that joke on Captain Hook, the one where he makes his voice sound like a pirate to get Hook out and poke him in the back. Or when you put Hook's pants on fire lol. KH2 is too serious.

Dodge Roll. I'll be shocked if anybody can find something in KH2 to matches the awsomeness of Dodge Roll. Quick Run has slow recovery time. Yea yea you get it in KH2FM but that's not out in the US.

I still think Kingdom Hearts 1 had a very simple storyline that doesn't make me say, "Wow, that's awesome. Square Enix is amazing."

QFT! The story of KH2 is good! I just don't like it because there are so many breaks in the story! Seriously, we all can say the story in the first few hours of the game made you say, "Wow, that's awsome!". But the story went down hill when the you start visiting the disney worlds.

What was the point of the disney worlds when they added nothing to the storyline! The only disney world that actually wowed me was Beast's Castle. Every other world I just treated as another bother I have to go through to advance through the game. Nomura should've just dropped the disney worlds all together.
