Hardest Video Game you've ever played?

FF. It's so gay. You get a random encounter like every two steps and the dungeons are freaking mazes.

even though i like the game it is rlly hard. but u fight for experience. FF7, FF12, FF3, FF8, FFX, and FFX-2 are the hards ones espiscally

exspeccially the boss fights. there is such a dramatic increase in difficulty.

yea but u got plan out the moves. it real eas y then that way. for sxample an enemy that uses magic only, and has high magic def. think about it . do u use phisycal attacks, or do u use magic? think about it. that when the game gets easy.

If only the newer FF games were like FF6. FF6 was so easy.

You could get an item called the Celestriad which makes all magic cost 1 mp and there was a spell called Ultima that did 9999 damage to all enemies. Also, there was another spell called Quick which freezes the enemy giving you two extra turns without the enemy attacking. There was also an item that could let you cast two spells each turn. What you would do was cast Quick and Ultima thanks to doublecast, then cast Ultima four times in a row thanks to doublecast and Quick. You've done 49995 damage before the enemy even got to attack lol.

thats kinda cheating though.

Imagine Pokemon where you have to move your character through areas and dungeons and towns. When you're not in a town, you can get attacked by random encounters. In a town, you can buy items, armor, weapons ect. You can also go to an inn to heal everybody.

FF's fighting system is similar to Pokemon since it's semi-turn based. Basically, you have your characters make a move, then wait for their time to fill up until you can make another move. The enemy can attack anytime though. In FF1 and FF2, you don't have to wait and the enemy attacks after you attack. Your characters can attack or use an item. Depending on their class, they can also do other things like Mages can cast magic.

The fighting system is a bit different from each game but that's the general background.
