I'm Bored. Here's another warstory/log from netbattle...

I'm just bored. I'm (...) btw. The reason all my Pokemons' nicknames are anagrams of their original names with a x in it is because I was obsessed with KH at that time.

Ninjask. Damn it. Ninjask has the highest speed in Overused netbattle. Also, it's ability speed boost, multiplies it's speed by 1.5 each turn. To make it worst, it can stall with subsitute to get in alot of speed boosts and baton pass them to another teammate. Attacking it is futile so I switch to my metal bird, hoping to whirlwind it out. But it didn't go as planned.

5-6 [Kai] Jebroni has the lead. I send out Xemprawst(Swampert) to counter his Magneton. He switches to Milotic to counter Pert and I switch to Doxzaps(Zapdos) to counter Milo followed by him switching to Regice. Finally, we both try to out predict each other and I switch to Xalorxns(Snorlax) and he switches to gay Ninjask again.

5-5 Tied Payback for Xyromarsk, but now I'm faced with that bitch Marowak. A stabbed Earthquake off of a 500 attack monster is not good!
He'll probably expect me to switch to Zapdos and use rock slide so I take the chance and attack again.

Ouch! Turns out he wasn't going to use rock slide. Lucky Lax has enough hp to take a huge Earthquake and strike back with a return. Marowak is at 2% hp. Good. The next few turns involve us switching back and forth. Regice rears its ugly head again to take a Tbolt from Doxzaps. I switch to Lax and his Gengar finally comes out and shows it's face.

4-5 [Kai] Jebroni has the lead again. Damn Gengar. More switching and we finally get to Bicexel(Celebi) vs his Regice. Bicexel gets into a boring stall war with Jebroni's team. After like a dozen turns, Doxzaps meets Marowak again and...

So? Look at the time this log was saved. I wasn't that good at making teams back then and all my teams where stall teams. Besides, I only saved the log because I was surprised how long Celebi lasted before it died.

1.)Celebi isn't an uber. Look on the smogon tier list. http://www.smogon.com/rs/tiers That or see for yourself on netbattle. It doesn't count Celebi or Jirachi as an uber.

2.)Celebi and Jirachi both are easily countered by ou pokes.

Celebi counters=
-Dugtrio(Arena Trap+HP Bug. Enough Said),
-Tyranitar(Resists Psychic which is usually Celebi's only attack. Tyraniboah can sub up to block leech seeds and crunch to death Bi. DDTar can taunt Bi to stop leech seeds and cms and put a hurting to it with Stabbed RS. Same with CBTar cept no taunt.),
-Heracross(Stabbed Megahorn will KO all Bi if they're slower.),
-Sceptile(Immune to Leech Seed and can strike back with HP Ice. CM versions give trouble but you won't use it on Cm versions.),
-Regice(Stabbed Ice Beam+High Sp Def=Bad for Bi. Psych up makes all of Bi's CMs useless.)
-Ludicolo(Look at Sceptile except with Ice Beam instead)
Other Celebi(The resist Psychic and Leech seed. CM Bi vs CM bi will lead to nowhere.)
-Metagross(4x Resists Psychic and CBed Stabbed Meteor Mashes HURT!)

Jirachi counters=
-Tyranitar(Immune to psychic, will own Chi if it's Tyraniboah, CBTar will KO Chi with EQ, and DDtar will not only KO Chi but your whole team if it has some DDances in.),
-Dugtrio(Arena Trap+Stabbed EQ. Enough said),
-Metagross(Resists Psychic and CB EQs will hurt Chi badly.)
-Snorlax with EQ(High Hp and Sp Def allows it to soak up all of Chi's attacks and it can attack back with EQs.),
-Swampert(Immune to Thunder/bolt, has Stab EQ. Even with a reflect up, Chi will still take alot from Pert's Stabbed EQs.)
-Magneton(Magnet Pull+Resist to Thunder/bolt and Psychic. Chi gets fire punch but without CM, fire punch will do shit to Fagneton.)
-Anything faster with high attack and EQ will finish of a weakened Chi i.e. Salamence, Slaking, Heracross, Gyarados, ect.

In conclusion, Jirachi and Celebi have too many common counters(Trio, TTar, Lax, Pert, Gross, Hera, and Regice) in OU to be uber.

-Right, what standard OU team doesn't have Snorlax/Blissey as their Sp Wall, Skamory/Metagross as their Phys Wall, Suicune/Milotic/Swampert as their bulky water? And usually Zapdos, Gengar, TTar, and/or Gengar comes with them also. TTar is in every TSS team and TSS teams are really common. Celebi is used as a CM passer or Heal Beller. The CM passer is usually with Zapdos and Heal Beller comes with Sleep Talk less Lax, RestSkarm, RestPert, and Cune.
